1st Diyandi Festival Men’s Open Volleyball to Kick Off in Iligan City
Iligan City, Philippines – September 2025 – The spirit of culture, unity, and athletic excellence comes alive as Iligan City launches the 1st Diyandi Festival Men’s Open Volleyball Tournament. The three-day event, part of the city’s annual Diyandi Festival celebration, will run from September 12 to 14, 2025, bringing together some of the finest volleyball players and teams in the region.
The opening games will take place at the Bagong Silang Gymnasiumsa September 12–13, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., while the culminating matches will be held at the Asenso Gym, Barangay Luinabsa September 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The tournament is expected to draw enthusiastic crowds, showcasing not only athletic skill but also the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Anchored on the festival’s theme, “Panaghiusa sa Kultura, Pagpadayon sa Tradisyon,” the men’s volleyball tournament emphasizes unity through sports while paying tribute to Iligan’s cultural heritage.
