Iligan Student Develops AI-Powered Game in Teacher Webinar
Zekiel Mohammed V. Arumpac, a student from Iligan National High School, created “Sky Cleaner,” an interactive game designed to raise awareness on air pollution. The project was completed during the second free DEVCON Kids Teacher’s Webinar for Hour of AI, where participants were introduced to vibe coding through a collaboration with Lovable, imagi, and OpenAI.
Highlights of Zekiel’s Creation
- Environmental Advocacy: The game encourages players to clear the sky of trash and toxic gas while avoiding birds.
- One-Hour Challenge: Zekiel completed the game within the allotted one-hour coding session.
- Interactive Learning: Teachers learned firsthand how vibe coding can inspire students to build purposeful digital projects.
- Accessible Gameplay: “Sky Cleaner” is available online, offering a simple and engaging way to explore environmental themes through technology.
Participants and educators witnessed how AI-assisted tools can help young creators design meaningful projects that connect technology with real-world issues.
