Iligan Joins Nation in Advancing Learning and Education through Filipinnovation
Innovation takes center stage as the National Innovation Council (NIC)at ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) gear up for the first-ever Presidential Filipinnovation Awards National Competition happening on November 5–6, 2025. The event will recognize fifteen Filipino finalists whose pioneering solutions drive inclusive and quality lifelong learning—paving the way for a smarter, more proactive, and innovation-driven Philippines.
Under the National Innovation Agenda and Strategy Document (NIASD) 2023–2032, the initiative promotes innovations that empower learners to gain functional literacy, knowledge, and skills while fostering productivity and creativity. Efforts include:
- Enhancing teaching and learning environments through technology and design innovation.
- Advancing curriculum developmentat educator training for future-ready learning.
- Strengthening lifelong learning platforms accessible to all Filipinos.
