Diyandi Photo Contest 2025 Opens for Registration
The Umbrella: Iligan Joint Photographers Society proudly announces the Diyandi Photo Contest 2025, inviting photographers from all levels to capture the vibrant culture, spirit, and stories of Iligan City. This annual competition provides a platform for both emerging and seasoned photographers to showcase their creativity, technical skills, and artistic vision.
Registration and Deadlines
- Registration Period: September 1 – 30, 2025
- Submission of Entries: October 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Black Bell Café (fronting China Bank Palao Branch)
- Registration kits will be available at designated locations (details to be announced).
Categories & Fees
Participants may choose between two categories:
- Conventional Category (PSS, DSLR, Mirrorless Cameras)
- Registration Fee: PHP 300
- Includes: Three (3) printed entries, three (3) Kodak Gaisano Mall discount coupons, and one (1) ID pass/access*
- Mobile Category (Smartphones/Tablets)
- Registration Fee: PHP 200
- Includes: One (1) ID pass/access*
*ID pass/access does not guarantee admission to paid Diyandi Festival events.
Additional entries may be submitted for PHP 100 per photo. Payment is exclusively via GCash, with proof of payment required.
Contest Guidelines
- All photo entries must be in full color.
- Entries are recommended to feature human interest elements aligned with the contest theme.
- Minimal editing is allowed (cropping, exposure, brightness/contrast). Composite images and heavy manipulation are prohibited.
- Entries must retain EXIF data for verification. Removal or alteration leads to disqualification.
- Previously submitted photos in other contests will not be accepted.
Prizes
Conventional Category
- 1st Prize: PHP 15,000
- 2nd Prize: PHP 10,000
- 3rd Prize: PHP 5,000
- Five (5) Consolation Prizes @ PHP 1,000 each
Mobile Category
- 1st Prize: PHP 5,000
- 2nd Prize: PHP 3,000
- 3rd Prize: PHP 2,000
- Five (5) Consolation Prizes @ PHP 500 each
Winning photos will be exhibited at a later date to be announced.
