Iligan City takes a major step toward becoming a hub for digital professionals, freelancers, and innovators with the first public hearing on an ordinance granting local incentives to digital nomads.
The public hearing, held on September 17, 2025 at the 4th Floor SP Building, gathered government officials, business leaders, and members of the creative and freelancing community. The proposed ordinance seeks to promote economic activity, tourism, and innovation in Iligan City by making the city more attractive to digital nomads and freelancers.
