Nesting Ground 2025 Brings Design Week Philippines to Iligan City
Design Week Philippines 2025 officially takes flight in Lungsod ng Iligan through Nesting Ground, a dynamic two-day event that merges art, design, and community. Happening on October 11–12, 2025, this celebration is set at Alex & B. Creative Studio at Inato Art Gallery, positioning Northern Mindanao as a vibrant creative nest for artists, designers, and changemakers.
Co-presented by Gamá Art Community, Inato Art, Pinas Safe Spaces, at Archipelagic Design, Nesting Ground is built around the theme “Towards Ginhawa”—a reflection on how design fosters well-being, balance, and connection across communities.
Iligan as a Creative Hub for Design and Connection
Through Design Talks, Movement Workshops, Open Mic performances, Art Exhibits, and even a Drag Show and DJ live sets, Nesting Ground transforms Iligan into a collaborative arena of creativity and cultural expression. The event also features PPT Nightat Film Screenings, creating meaningful spaces for artists and participants to exchange ideas, inspire one another, and celebrate local talent.
